What’s the next big thing in fashion?
Jessie – For Summer we have some beautiful soft fabrics and textures and some really bold and experimental prints and cuts. Winter we can look forward to some kitch knitwear and a play on traditional cuts and shapes.
What does fashion mean to you?
Jessie – Fashion is a lifestyle, not one that everyone ‘gets’ most of the time, but that’s ok! Individual style is a statement and a form of expression and art, I love having the confidence to walk down a street in something no one else would wear, people take fashion far too seriously and this always makes me laugh!
Jessica – fashion is a happy way of expressing myself and showing my creative side. Fashion should be fun and exciting.
What’s the greatest thing about being in public relations for fashion?
Jessie – I love the psychological process behind branding and our ability to influence people’s thoughts and feelings through what they read, watch and talk about – I am so intrigued by the process of creating a reaction. I love the feeling of taking a brand that has no establishments and watching them turn into one of Australia’s hottest super brands. It’s really amazing to see the potential in a brand in its early stages and watch everyone in the country fall in love with it.
